Tel Aviv’s Weather

Tel Aviv enjoys a warm and humid Mediterranean weather and with over 300 sunny days a year, its beaches are very popular. Summers in Tel Aviv are typically hot and very humid with pleasant springs and autumns. Winters tend to be cool, wet and windy.

In the colder months, December through February, the temperature typically ranges from 9 to 17 °C (48 to 63 °F). In the warmest month, August, the temperature typically ranges from 24 to 30 °C (75 to 86 °F).

Spring and autumn are transitional seasons, with some fluctuations in temperature and precipitation. Heatwaves are most common during spring, with temperatures as high as 35 °C (95 °F), while cold spells are most common in winter, with minimum temperatures as low as 5 °C (41 °F) recorded a number of times per year.
